Dave's one and only post...

That's right ladies and gentlemen, this is the only time I will post, miracles really do happen. so pick those jaws up off the floor ( it's not as cute as you think) and listen up.
I actually thought I would tell all my adoring fans about my new job. I am an Academic Advisor at the Art Institute of Colorado. I advise the students in the Web Design and Interactive Media Design programs. I spend my time adjusting student schedules, registering them for the up coming quarter, meeting with students when they are struggling in class, be it grades or attendance, and anything else they might need from me. I have a small office which I love, and I am having a great time getting to know my students. It is very different from teaching, and yet the lack of motivation in some of my students is oddly reminiscent of my middle school students.
Just to give you an idea of cost, students pay $490.00 per credit hour. So if you do the math, a student who fails a quarter at 16 credits could put a down payment on a very nice car. Yikes!
I work very weird hours, but I love my job, and am very grateful to be going to work every morning. Thank you to everyone who prayed for us, and supported us during the long months I was looking for a job.
