today is canada day and it makes me a little nostalgic for my "other home." i listened to "oh canada" and thought about how we sang it at every zone conference. i thought about the many great memories i have of my time in canada...the incredible people i met, the things i learned, the new pronunciation of words i was introduced to, the great food i tasted for the first time (can't forget about the food...nanimo bars, tim bits, wunderbars, curry, roti, Jamaican beef patties, panzit...) and the way my life changed during my 18 months there. it will always be a special place to me. happy canada day!

july 1st
