at the end of june we went camping with pete and kathy. it was the perfect weekend getaway. we hung out in the camper, flew a kite, went on a walk along the river, dave and i snuck away to ride the atv's, we took a nap, read, played baseball and threw the frisbee with the kids. we were in a gorgeous place with people we love and it was wonderful! plus i loved that there was no cell service and we didn't have to worry about being distracted. the kids were in heaven the whole weekend. we also got to cross 3 things off our summer bucket list: camping, seeing a rainbow and flying a kite! now we just need to figure out another time to go.
connor had a rough first night, but slept great the second night. we got some quality snuggle time with the little guy and loved it.
emma really enjoyed the markers that came in her present from gammy and pappy. she woke up super early our first morning, but entertained herself until we got up. this was what we woke up to!
this kid loves blueberries. and he looks so big sitting up to the table all by himself.
they were totally snuggled up together, taking a nap. but i accidentally woke them up and missed the sweet photo opp.
the highlight for the kids was an atv ride around the loop by our campsite with their dad.
